A 1929 Ford Model A Huckster resides at Trillium Vineyard. You will often see it piled high with food, goodies, and grapes for our special events. Huckster trucks were conversions built for the particular needs of farmers and sometimes peddlers (or hucksters). They were typically used for delivering fruits and vegetables, a mobile farmer's market.
Trillium Vineyard's Huckster wine is blended in the Bordeaux style, but we have added a different varietal not found in a traditional Bordeaux. Huckster will make you think you are savoring all the best flavors from the back of the farmer's truck: black cherry, blackberry, dried figs, mint, and green pepper. The additional flavors of oak and leather round out the blend and make you feel as though you are standing right beside the Huckster.
